In order to participate in the Bay Ridge Kids' Triathlon and Fun Run, triathletes and/or fun run participants' parents or grandparents must be a member of the Bay Ridge Community Association or the triathlete is a member of the Bay Ridge Marlin Swim Team.

Each participant must have one parent volunteer sign up to help on the day of the event.

The parent will be assigned to help with the swim, bike, run, or transition section of the course.

 

Triathlete must:

 

1. Have his/her bike inspected and bike inspection form filled out before the day of the event.

2. Fill in a waiver form signed by parent/guardian before the day of the event.

​

Triathlon is open to all children 7 to 18 years of age meeting the above stated requirements.

​

Triathletes receive a t-shirt and finishing medal.

The top three male and female finishers in each age group receive a trophy.

​

Fun Run is open to all children 6 and under and/or those under the age of 18 not participating in the triathlon.

​

Fun Run participants receive a finishing medal and t-shirt.​

​

With the support of the Bay Ridge Community Association, Matt Trotta Family, and community donations we are able to run the Bay Ridge Triathlon as a free event for participants.
